Dr. Toijam Soni Lyngdoh
Dr. Toijam Soni Lyngdoh is a Consultant General & Pediatric Surgeon who is currently practicing in Guwahati and Imphal. He was a DNB faculty (Gen Surgery) of Downtown Hospital, Guwahati, Assam and looks after Mother's Care Children Hospital & Research Centre, Imphal, Manipur. He is presently working as Sr Consultant, Pediatric Surgeon, Excelcare Hospital, Boragaon, Guwahati. He is actively involved in bedside teaching programmes for Residents, OT Assistants, Technicians and Nursing students. He is a visiting Surgeon of GNRC Hospitals, Sixmile Campus, Guwahati, Assam. For over 19 years, he has been performing laparoscopic surgeries and all major GI surgeries (Adult & Pediatrics). Bronchoscopy, Endoscopic subcutaneous scarless (stealth) & other minimally invasive procedures are his forte. He has been visiting almost all districts of the North Eastern states covering Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh and delivering CME lectures as part of Pediatric Surgery awareness campaign.
He is the founder of 'www.docxus.net' - an online free healthcare consultancy service and 'We CARE foundation' - a philanthropic group for correction of congenital anomalies and rehabilitation with education. He is a fellow of American College of Surgeons (FACS), International College of Surgeons (FICS), Association of Surgeons of India (FAIS), Association of minimal Access Surgeons of India (FMAS) and Indian Association of Gastro Endo Surgeons (FIAGES).
